Keynote Presentations and Book Signings during Spring Literary Arts Festival

The library and the Friends of the Library will host two authors for keynote presentations and book signings during the 2013 Spring Literary Arts Festival, "North and South: A House Divided," commemorating the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War on Saturday, April 6 in the library's meeting room.

From the Mists of Time: Civil War Voices

Dramatic readings from famous and infamous historical persons of the American Civil War era will be presented by the Friends' Community Players in the meeting room of the library on Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m., including Sullivan Ballou, Clara Barton, John Brown, Jefferson Davis, Ulysses S. Grant, Stephen Douglas, William Lloyd Garrison, Rose O'Neal Greenhow, Cornelia Hancock, Abby House, Julia Ward Howe, Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, Sarah Morgan, Matthew Simpson, Harriet Beecher Stowe,Sojourner Truth, and Harriet Tubman.
