From the Mists of Time: Civil War Voices

Dramatic readings from famous and infamous historical persons of the American Civil War era will be presented by the Friends' Community Players in the meeting room of the library on Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m., including Sullivan Ballou, Clara Barton, John Brown, Jefferson Davis, Ulysses S. Grant, Stephen Douglas, William Lloyd Garrison, Rose O'Neal Greenhow, Cornelia Hancock, Abby House, Julia Ward Howe, Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, Sarah Morgan, Matthew Simpson, Harriet Beecher Stowe,Sojourner Truth, and Harriet Tubman. Admission is free and open to the public, but the library’s meeting room can only accommodate 50 persons. Free tickets are available at the library’s circulation desk upstairs.
