To service the requests of its patrons, the library will attempt to borrow materials from other libraries within Ohio if it is unable to fill a request in-house. The library has an interlibrary borrowing agreement with SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) and has access to thousands of materials across the State of Ohio. If you have a library card in good standing with HWML and are not able to find an item you want in the local catalog, be sure to ask one of the library assistants to learn if it is available through interlibrary loan. You may also feel free to complete the attached request form below and bring it into the library during your next visit. However, the Ohio Valley Library Consortium (OVLC), in which the Herbert Wescoat Memorial Library (HWML) is a member, also provides additional materials which may be borrowed by HWML patrons through searching the online public access catalog (OPAC) at home or within the library.
